Yass Valley Council – Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) Documents.

Council has published its 2025 IP&R documents on its web site.  Community feedback is sought to ensure Council is delivering the services and infrastructure you want and need.  Read the docs and share your thoughts.  Submissions are due Friday 6 June.  See the YVC web site for details.

Bowning Village Masterplan

Council has published a masterplan for Bowning.  The Masterplan maps out possible developments for the Village.  While no specific funding has been allocated for the Masterplan, it will form the basis for future grants applications.  Link to Masterplan.

Get NSW Active Grants 2024-25.

The Yass Valley Council received a grant of $1,308,121 for the construction of footpaths around the Bowning Village.  Work has commenced and is expected to be finished by the end of June.  View map.

TRANSGRID grant to Progress Association.

The Progress Association has just completed a project to upgrade the canteen at the Bowning Recreation Oval.  The grant allowed us to purchase a new Oven, fridge and numerous other small items.  Upgrade to the electrical system also undertaken. Tom Hall (electrician) and Sam Hall (Plumber) donated and installed a new hot water system.  Some of the items will only installed once we have installed a new entrance door and cleaned up the room.

A working bee will be called shortly to clean out the canteen and make it ready for use.
